TarangAI is a messaging, commerce, and customer engagement platform operated by JLB Technologies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and how people can request access to or deletion of their data.

- Directly from users and business customers when they message a connected WhatsApp number, place an order, submit information through our website, or contact support.
- From Meta and WhatsApp when messages, delivery receipts, business assets, and related webhook events are sent to TarangAI.
- From connected service providers and integrations such as payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, database providers, and commerce platforms.
- Automatically through logs and security systems when users visit our website or sign in to our dashboard.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide messaging, ordering, support, campaign, automation, and dashboard functionality.
- Process and manage orders, payment flows, confirmations, notifications, and customer service conversations.
- Authenticate users, secure accounts, prevent abuse, detect fraud, and maintain system integrity.
- Operate analytics, reporting, and performance monitoring for businesses using TarangAI.
- Maintain message history, templates, delivery status, and operational records.
- Respond to support requests, policy issues, legal obligations, and platform review requirements.
- Comply with Meta Platform Terms, WhatsApp requirements, payment obligations, and applicable law.
4. Legal Basis and Business Use
We process information where necessary to provide requested services, perform contracts with our business customers, comply with legal obligations, protect the security of our systems, and pursue legitimate business interests such as support, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
When TarangAI is used by a business to communicate with its own customers, that business may also act as an independent controller of the customer data it submits or receives through the service.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as needed with:
- Meta and WhatsApp to send and receive messages, manage business messaging assets, and comply with platform requirements.
- Infrastructure and software providers such as hosting, database, authentication, analytics, and monitoring vendors.
- Payment providers to create, validate, and reconcile payment requests and payment status events.
- Commerce or integration partners connected by the business customer, such as Shopify or similar tools.
- Professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or courts where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security and operational records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Message, order, contact, and support records may be retained for active business operations and reasonable archival periods.
- Session and temporary workflow data may expire automatically after short operational windows.
- Logs and security data may be retained for fraud prevention, debugging, and compliance.

TarangAI is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to provide their own consent. If you believe a child provided personal information through TarangAI inappropriately, contact us so we can review the request.
